Welcome to McKelvey Road Baptist Church

1. The Holy Scripture: We hold that the Bible is God’s inspired word, offering a flawless roadmap for salvation and daily conduct. As divine truth, it remains our highest authority and the foundation of our congregational harmony at McKelvey Road Baptist Church.

2. The Almighty: We honor one God—the Maker and King of all things—who remains eternal in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. His wisdom and power invite our total devotion.

3. God the Father: He governs the cosmos with infinite grace. He serves as a compassionate Father to everyone who seeks Him through Jesus Christ.

4. God the Son: Jesus Christ is the eternal Son, born of a virgin and without sin. By His sacrifice and rising, He bought our freedom from sin. He acts as the only bridge to God and will return in majesty.

5. The Holy Spirit: He reveals our need for grace, leads us into all truth, and equips our members for ministry. He lives within each believer as a pledge of our future glory.

6. Man: Man was made in the likeness of God. The first man, Adam, transgressed in eating the forbidden fruit . The effects of Adam's sin brought death into the world and is evident in man's broken fellowship with God. 

7. Redemption: Salvation is a gracious gift for those who trust in Jesus Christ. This journey includes spiritual renewal and everlasting life through faith in Him alone.

8. Our Congregation: McKelvey Road Baptist Church is a local assembly of baptized followers committed to sharing the Good News. We believe we are all called to use our gifts, with pastors and deacons leading according to biblical standards.

9. Ordinances: We practice baptism by immersion as a public sign of faith in our risen Lord. This step of obedience precedes regular fellowship and participation in the Lord’s Supper within our church body.
